Mae Hamilton is a U.S.-based travel writer. She’s a strong believer in the transformative nature of travel and strives to empower people with the information they need to take that aspirational trip they’ve always dreamed of going on.
Mae was previously an editor at TPG and worked at Afar Media for nearly three years, crafting destination guides, reporting on travel news and contributing to the print magazine. She’s also enjoyed stints at publications like Variety, Character Media and The Austin Chronicle. A native Texan, she now calls Los Angeles home and enjoys surfing as well as playing the banjo in her free time. In her opinion, there’s no better feeling than a morning walk through a quiet neighborhood in a new city.
